(Luqman) No. 31 (Revealed at Mecca) 34 Verses in 4 Sections

Sūra Luqmān is the 31st chapter (surah) of  the Qur'an. It is composed of 34 verses . It is among the sixth Suras which begin with abbreviated letters: A.L.M.

Benefits of Surah Luqman:  There are various benefits for Reciting this Surat Luqman.

1) If you recites Sura Luqman every night Allah appoints angels to protect you from Shaitan and his agents till the next morning; and if it is recited in the morning these angels would protect him from Shaitan and his agents till sunset.
2) If you Recites Sura Luqman, honorable Luqman would be his friend on the Day of Judgment, and virtues ten times more than the number of those who have enjoined good and forbidden from doing evil, would be credited to his record of deeds. 
3) If you writes Sura Luqman on a china plate, washes it with clean water and gives it to a person suffering stomachache to drink, the illness would be cured. If there is fever it will also be cured.
4) If blood is coming out of a wound write this sura Luqman on paper and tie it on the wound to stop the bleeding.

(The Narratives) No. 28 (Revealed at Mecca) 88 Verses in 9 Sections

Surah Al Qasas has 88 ayaat in this Surah and it was revealed in Makkah though some scholars say that it was revealed in Madinah. The 58th verse of this Surah was revealed at the time of the Holy Prophet’s (S) migration from Makkah to Madinah.

Benefits of Surah Al Qasas : There are various vritues, few are discussed below 

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam in a tradition said: “The one who recites Surah Al-Qasas will be given ten rewards as many as the number of all those who assented Moses and those who rejected him, and there is no angel in the heavens and the earth but he will attest to his rightfulness in Hereafter.”

Our Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (razi allahu anhu) in another tradition says: “The one who recites suras Al-Qasas, An-Naml, and Ash-Shu‘ara by the night before Friday, he will be of the friends of Allah, will be nigh to Him, and will be supported by Him; and in this world he will not encounter a sever poverty, insecurity and disquiet, and in Hereafter Allah will bestow on him so much merits that he will be pleased and even more than being pleased.”

It is evident that all of these rewards will be given to the one who, by reciting this Surah, tries to be in the row of Moses (as), the true believers, and those who struggle against the wrongdoers such as Pharaoh and Korah.

When confronting the difficulties, he must not knee before the enemies and accept the disgrace of submission, for all these many rewards are not given to anyone cheaply. They are specified to those who usually recite the Surah, contemplate its content, and fulfil them accordingly.
